SURVIVAL SHEATH SYSTEM ™
We
provide a variety of carry options to satisfy the most demanding
requirements. We offer our own line of advanced tactical sheaths,
known as the Urban Survival Sheath System.
We use .090" Concealex in various colors and patterns including
black, carbon fiber, desert camo and woodland camo. We also
offer the option of Gargoyle Skin on all of our sheaths. Gargoyle
Skin is essentially an exotic leather or "skin" which has been
laminated to the exterior of a Concealex sheath. We use an industrial
grade adhesive combined with eyelets and Chicago screws to create
a chemical as well as mechanical bond between the "skin" and
the substrate. Gargoyle skin offers the ultimate in noise reduction,
aesthetics and comfort.
Each sheath comes equipped with a Bladetech Tek-Lok belt attachment.
The Tek-Loc is extremely strong and can be moved to either side
of the sheath for strong or weak side carry. It can also be
rotated 90 or 180 degrees to facilitate inverted or horizontal
carry. Spring steel boot clips are available in lieu of the
Tek-Lok for individuals interested in more discreet carry methods
such as inside the waistband. Mil-Spec grade black Velcro webbing
is available with each sheath and offers the user unlimited
carry options, as well as the ability to attach the sheath to
various objects and gear. The Velcro webbing works very well
for attaching the sheath to a steering column or sun visor.
Our MP5 sheath also comes with a length of paracord and a black
oxide beaded chain, which allows it to be worn as a neck sheath
or carried in the static mode. The MP5 has a .250" diameter
molded channel for the neck cord to pass through. This channel
eliminates most of the twisting problems associated with other
sheath styles.
Our MP4 sheath is formatted for use with the JSP Bladerigger
Associate Shoulder Harness System. We are proud to offer this
system as an option with each of our knives. Equipped with the
Comfort Sleeve and T-Strap Lashdown the Associate Harness provides
the ultimate in terms of concealed carry. The MP4 will also
accept the Tek-Lok belt attachment and can be used with the
JSP Static Cord which is included with each harness.
The Urban
Survival Sheath System is a constantly evolving carry system
designed to provide the user with unlimited carry options and
immediate access to a fixed blade knife.
