SnodyKnives is not taking custom orders for the year 2006. The International demand for SnodyKnives has greatly exceeded the supply. I build knives one at a time and as such my output is very limited.

I have maintained a multi-year backlog since 2001 and I am very grateful to my many clients and friends who have purchased my knives over the years.

Maintaining a multi-year backlog is restrictive in the sense that the overwhelming workload does not allow for the implementation of New Designs, New Materials and New Technology.

SnodyKnives is committed to the evolution of the cutting tool and it is impossible to evolve if I am building 2002 designs in the year 2006. The price of fuel, consumables, steel, titanium and carbon fiber has skyrocketed over the last three years.

I have no idea how inflation and world demand for these materials will affect their pricing over the next three years. Logistically speaking it is extremely difficult to maintain a multi-year backlog and adhere to pricing that is three or more years old while operating a profitable business.

SnodyKnives is proudly moving forward into the 21st Century with constantly evolving designs featuring 21st Century ergonomics and 21st Century materials.

I will continue to produce my older designs but my main emphasis will be on New Designs while constantly searching for increased performance and increased value.
